1. REMOVE UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the upper intake manifold sub-assembly (Click here).

    NOTICE:
    Take care to ensure that foreign objects do not enter the Intake Manifold.



2. REMOVE NO.1 IGNITION COIL

  1. Disengage the wire harness clamp.

  1. Disconnect the 4 No. 1 ignition coil connectors.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and the 4 No. 1 ignition coils.



3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG


    A220058E01

  1. Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench, remove the 4 spark plugs.
